Bande á Part – Danceable event for outsiders

Funny stunts, dangerous comedy and breathtaking performances with soap bubbles, magic, chickens and much more present live entertainment in its rawest, strangest and most joyful form.

Hosted by Berlin legend Roc Roc It – a true icon of comedy and slideshow freak culture – and featuring the unstoppable KNUCKLE UP CABARET A L L S T A R S, this show celebrates outsiders, oddballs and lovers of the wild and wonderful.

This exceptional cabaret is presented by Bande á Part – a dance event for outsiders. Since 2011, the dance and performance series at Eschschloraque has provided creative freedom, an open field of experimentation for artistic self-realisation. The series innovatively sets an example for free art and playfully embraces the outsider position of independent art projects: outsiders are renowned artists who take advantage of and enrich the experimental space for development; they are also up-and-coming performers who realise their potential, try things out and develop further in the series.

Contrary to fixed choreographic and conceptual guidelines, Bande á Part represents a platform that does not require restricted genre definitions, but rather spans a framework of orientation via contemporary dance and performance. Conformity and subordination are replaced by artistic development, the exploitation and testing of one's own artistic potential.
