Young talents from the Julius Stern Institute introduce themselves
At Klassik in Spandau, the highly gifted students of the Julius Stern Institute will showcase their talent both as soloists and in chamber music ensembles.
The Julius Stern Institute, part of the Faculty of Music at the Berlin University of the Arts, is considered the oldest, largest, and most prestigious institution for the promotion of musical talent in Europe. In 2020, the institute celebrated the 170th anniversary of the founding of Stern's Conservatory—Berlin's first music conservatory—as well as the 200th anniversary of Julius Stern's birth.
The program, which is being compiled at short notice, promises a captivating blend of impressive virtuosity, sophisticated sound design, and mature musical expression—proof that the next generation of musicians is in excellent hands.
