The world's most famous love story? This time told in a completely different way: Lieutenant Escalus and Inspector Watson reopen the mysterious case of Juliet Capulet. Suicide or cold-blooded murder? What is Chorus, the sinister maid, hiding? And does Romeo even exist – or was it all just a bizarre dream full of intrigue, deception, and tragic twists? A crime story meets Shakespeare.
The world's most famous love story – retold as a crime thriller: Lieutenant Escalus and Inspector Watson investigate the mysterious deaths of Juliet Capulet and her cousin Tybalt. Was it suicide? Murder? Or is there more to it? Chorus, the Capulet family's enigmatic maid, seems to know more than she lets on. And what about Romeo? Does he really exist – or is he merely a figment of Juliet's imagination?
This dark, suspenseful, and at the same time humorous reimagining is presented by the Berlin-based theater group teAtrum 7 – an ensemble of four passionate actors and director Sascha Weipert, who have been captivating audiences for years with their creative stage productions.
