sucre sucre is a DJ based between Berlin and Vienna. Her fascination with the ambiguous and genre-fluid was influenced by formative experiences in church choirs, traditional East African music and her sister’s collection of garage records. Currently a resident at Mutant Radio, she has done mixes for airwaves such as NTS, Radio80000 and Kiosk Radio among others — giving insight into her ever-expanding collection: tracks with unusual lyrics, offbeat energy, or irresistibly strong basslines.

She recently has played at Fusion Festival in Germany, Braille Satellite in Lithuania and Lighthouse Festival in Croatia as well as venues like Goldener Reiter in Munich and Open Ground in Wuppertal.
On this evening, she will be playing a special DJ set as part of the programme “On Planetary Justice”.
