Nature and German history

The walk leads from the Senftenberg bathing beach and the "Spur der Steine" playground (a memorial to the "father of Lake Senftenberg", Otto Rindt), to a vantage point with a view over this 1st nature reserve from a former open-cast mine and finally to the headquarters of the Lausitzer und Mitteldeutsche Bergbau-Verwaltungsgesellschaft (LMBV) at the mouth of the Rainitza.
With Martin Baumert, research associate of the exhibition "Nature and German History", and Elke Löwe, landscape designer and planner of the successor site.

Out of the museum: The exhibition program takes place outside on five dates. On walks lasting around two hours, members of the team and external guests will delve deeper into individual topics on site: along highway ruins and vineyards, artificially created lakes and castle gardens.
