ZEDER

Celebrating life, walking the long path in harmony with our heartbeat, and exploring the reasons for our existence – like a mighty cedar with countless roots that create connections, we repeatedly encounter people on our path. Inspired by the wisdom of the cedar tree, the dancers of the SZENE 2WEI company bring the themes of joie de vivre and connection to nature to the stage – expressed in diverse and dynamic images. The dance explores these themes and combines them with elements of contemporary dance theater.

After a break of approximately 20 minutes for set change, the second performance begins.


THINGS FALLING

It tells of the inscription of memory in the body: traces of vigilance, impact, and war – scars that are simultaneously manipulations that shape identity and raise questions: What changes us? How does it resonate in our bodies? The play explores the inextricable connection between body, memory, and identity. Every conflict leaves its mark, every resonance is carried on. The struggle has changed its form: no longer only on the battlefield, but also in the realm of technology, its power unfolds. Yet its effect on body and identity remains.
