In cooperation with radioeins, the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin (DSO) will continue its concert series ‘Schöne Töne Live’ on Friday, 24 October.

Once again, composer and presenter Sven Helbig will take listeners on a journey through music from all over the world and throughout history for the live edition of his popular radio programme.

This time, the DSO and Sven Helbig will share the stage with theremin virtuoso Carolina Eyck, electronic artist Abul Mogard and conductor Daníel Bjarnason. The programme will feature music written by the performers themselves as well as by Régis Campo and Johannes Brahms.

Sven Helbig and his ‘Schöne Töne’ are back! The concert on Friday, 24 October marks the fourth season of the collaboration with the popular radioeins format.

As in his radio programme of the same name, Sven Helbig presents music from all over the world and throughout history to an enthusiastic audience – live from the big stage at the Haus des Rundfunks. The concept of the show remains unchanged in the live edition: classical orchestral music flows together with electronica, ambient, new and ancient. In addition to Sven Helbig and the musicians of the DSO, prominent guests take to the stage to present their own projects, talk shop with the presenter about music and give the audience a deeper understanding of what they have heard.
