INTERFILM 41: VR meets Fulldome
Since its premiere ten years ago (!), VR meets Fulldome has remained an audience favourite here at INTERFILM and reinvented itself repeatedly, keeping pace with developments in immersive film technology.
In co-operation with the festival 3D Courant in Angoulême and curated by Francois Serre, they are proud to bring you a communal virtual reality cinema experience – and you don't even need to don 3D glasses or VR headsets for it.
The festival's best VR films will be projected onto the enormous 360° dome of Zeiss Planetarium, leaving you completely enveloped: in image, sound and vibes. Sit back, marvel, lose yourselves in the dome – and experience the way VR and Fulldome merge into a spectacular symbiosis.
