Exploratory choir concert on artificial intelligence
The award-winning Neuer Kammerchor Berlin, under the direction of Adrian Emans, focuses on the creative possibilities and limitations of artificial intelligence in this exploratory concert. The focus is on a world premiere written by AI, which, together with the choir and instruments, opens up new sonic perspectives.
The program also includes works by Whitacre, Gottwald, Buchenberg, and Hamilton that explore technological and social upheavals. These works are partially interwoven and sonically enriched by theremin, synthesizer, bass, and percussion.
This creates surprising timbres and new listening experiences. Before the concert, AI expert Alex Vaughan will offer insights into the opportunities, limitations, and perspectives of AI in the music industry in a panel discussion. An evening that uniquely combines tradition, experimentation, and innovation.
