A play for young people and adults

Four young people born after the fall of the Berlin Wall ask themselves: What actually happened in our families? Why is politics hardly ever discussed anymore, why are there so many arguments and misunderstandings? Where does the right-wing violence that is flooding the streets again come from?

The play ABBAU OST looks at life after reunification – from the perspective of the generation born after it. What do we have in common, where are the differences – and what is going wrong and what may have gone wrong? In the process, old ideas about reunification – whether as a great success or a story of loss – are questioned.
