URSULA is a dedication to her grandmother. A love letter to the life of a woman who retreated into vivid inner worlds to find space, voice, and release.
Three performers move through a shifting landscape of fabrics and songs, slipping between layers of reality and imagination. Through whispered confessions, fractured harmonies and tactile movement, URSULA explores the blurred line between presence and absence, memory and invention, the collective and the individual.
It speaks to the long history of women labeled 'hysterical' for feeling too much, imagining too freely — a story not of personal pathology, but of collective survival and resistance. Where does imagination end and madness begin?
On four evenings the graduates of the BA Dance, Context, Choreography show their final projects. With works by Mateo Argerich, Ella Olivia Bender, Anton Gerzina, Sefa Okutan, Mahshad Rezai, Milena Stein, Marie Stremmel, Frida Zack.
