
The immersive exhibition ORIGINS – Life’s Epic Journey will be on display in Berlin for the first time from 24 October to April 2026. ORIGINS offers a unique exhibition experience that combines art, science and technology in an extraordinary way:
Art and the latest technology in a fascinating combination
Under the artistic direction of Markos R. Kay, over 14 internationally renowned digital artists have created a unique journey through the history of the origins of life.
The immersive experience is made possible by state-of-the-art technologies and combines realistic visuals with impressive soundscapes and special effects to create a captivating 360-degree experience.
Multimedia techniques are used to create the visual experience, including analogue and macro photography, AI-based generative art and 3D design. This allows the various scenes to be presented in a fascinating way and with great detail, creating an unforgettable atmosphere in which artistic imagination goes hand in hand with technical precision.
Under the artistic direction of Markos R. Kay, an extraordinary creative collaboration has been formed, featuring a line-up of renowned contemporary digital artists such as Martin Salfity, Davy Evans, Thomas Vanz, Gokhan Tekin (aka Koko_3d), Teun van der Zalm, Susi Sie, Jesse Solomon Clark as sound composer, Roman Hill and Markos Kay himself.
The result is a visual Gesamtkunstwerk in which science, art and technology merge.

ORIGINS is a production by Kunstkraftwerk Leipzig, which, as organiser and overall producer, is bringing the successful premiere to the capital with a spectacular sequel.
