Performance

A weekly gathering exploring forms of prayer and approaching a new ritual. On seven Fridays, each evening dedicated to a theme, we will launch a prayer club with the beauty and wisdom of ancient worship traditions.

In a public, open-source process, they will practice liturgies as scores for performative acts—questioning them, reformulating them, and blending them together.

The public is invited to gather in a contemporary sacred space that is free, inclusive, doubtful, curious, and loving—a space without exclusion, oppression, or violence, where we seek new belonging and practice togetherness.

In this new worship service, participants are encouraged to bring their own rituals to bear, which will shape the process, while guest experts provide insights. Together, we will ask: What makes rituals relevant today? Which ones should carry people into the future? And which ones need to be reconsidered?

Together, everyone moves, sings, and embodies rituals—providing something this pain-stricken world desperately needs: a place to mourn, to celebrate life and honor the beauty of the world, to practice gratitude, to confess their faith, to refresh our values, and to freely play with identities—until they dissolve into nothingness.
