14 years lie between the debuts of these two authors, Deniz Ohde Streulicht, 2020, and Dilek Güngör Das Geheimnis meiner türkischen Großmutter, 2007. They encountered very different publication and reception conditions in a time of change and are now indispensable voices in contemporary German-language literature.
