NoonSong - Song & Prayer
The vocal
music of the Romantic period speaks to us with heartfelt sounds. In sacred
choral music, they draw on Renaissance models and often achieve unexpectedly
austere and sublime results, such as Rheinberger in his "Ex Sion". In
complete contrast, Albert Becker's psalm setting is almost orchestrally scored.

NoonSong - what's that?
Every Saturday at noon, locals, visitors to Berlin, music fans and architecture enthusiasts gather for NoonSong. It is both a concert and a church service, developed from Anglican Evensong. Eight professional singers from the vocal ensemble sirventes berlin perform choral music under the direction of Stefan Schuck.
