Family Sunday at the Museum Ephraim-Palais

Discover the BerlinZEIT! On the 1st and 2nd floors of the Museum Ephraim-Palais, the exhibition offers you an entertaining discovery tour through the centuries and at the same time a comprehensive overview of the sometimes revolutionary events in this city.


All the senses are addressed:

Feel medieval fabrics, smell your way back to 1740, see the padlock from the original Brandenburg Gate and listen to interviews with people who shaped Berlin at the time of reunification.

And that’s not all that awaits you on this day!

A family tour through ‘BerlinZEIT’ offers fun for young and old. On the ‘Freistellen’ (Free Spaces) in the exhibition, we recall the last anti-colonial freedom movement in Africa, which was also active from Berlin. The Schlütersaal is transformed into a colourful fairytale world for children. And on the 3rd floor, our new special exhibition about the Berlin Backyards awaits you.


 
The ‘Sunday at the Nikolai Quarter’

With this day of action, the Stadtmuseum Berlin is continuing the popular Museum Sunday, which unfortunately cannot be continued in 2025 due to cost-cutting measures by the Berlin Senate. Instead, on the first Sunday of the month, they are offering a special, wide-ranging program for everyone in the three museums in the Nikolai Quarter.


Families in particular are cordially invited – admission is free for children and adolescents under the age of 18!
