Harvest time at the open-air museum: To kick off the golden autumn, the Düppel museum village invites you to a colorful festival. Experience how fresh bread is baked in the historic clay oven or how food is cooked in a pot over an open fire, prepared according to medieval recipes.
At the hands-on stand, families can make a harvest crown - a traditional harvest festival decoration made from ears of grain. There are also many stalls on the village square with food and harvest-related themes.
At the "Iron Art" forge, even the youngest children can swing a hammer and work hot iron over burning embers. A hand-powered children's carousel provides fun and enjoyment.
