Photo Exhibition in Marzahn

Until August 29, more than 40 photographs of Berlin are on display across the three floors of the district central library “Mark Twain” in Marzahn – but with a twist.

Familiar places such as Alexanderplatz underground station, Karl-Marx-Allee, and even the Mark Twain Library itself have been imaginatively enhanced with a “refreshing” detail that invites both young and old to dream.

This excursion is completely free of charge – yet far from meaningless – as it sparks the imagination.

Photographer Marco van Oel experiments with the creative possibilities of photo editing and urban design.

  • Free admission daily from 10 AM to 7 PM
  • District Central Library “Mark Twain”, Marzahner Promenade 55, 12679 Berlin
