SPIELRAUM – Independent Performing Arts Days Berlin
SERRATED EDGES explores the fragility of human existence and evokes the duality of the body—through its presence and absence, through its movements and gestures, through images, words, sounds, whispers, screams, laments, laughter, and silence.
The initiative LUNA PARK places a particular focus on making contemporary dance more accessible to new audiences and increasing the visibility of the art form itself. In an open rehearsal process, the audience is invited to engage with the dance, share their impressions with the choreographer, artistic director, and participating artists. These encounters open up new perspectives—for both the artistic team and the audience.
To participate, please register via production@lunapark.works. Arrival 10 minutes before the start is kindly requested. We recommend combining this with the following movement workshop (optional).
Located at Gesundbrunnen Elementary School in Berlin’s Wedding district—an area with relatively limited access to cultural and educational opportunities—LUNA PARK transforms the school into a space for cultural production and artistic engagement.
This offering is part of the "tanz(t)räume" program, presented in close cooperation with Gesundbrunnen Elementary School, supported by TANZPAKT Stadt-Land-Bund, and co-financed by the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion.
This event is part of SPIELRAUM – the Days of the Independent Performing Arts Community in Berlin
