True folk fans may know these musicians better by their legendary former name: The Dubliners. It was over half a century ago that they first performed on German soil. However, the band eventually disbanded when frontman John Sheahan sadly retired in 2012.

But the legend lives on!

The Dublin Legends, the successors to the iconic Irish folk group, are returning to Germany in 2025. Among them: singer and guitarist Sean Cannon, who has been part of the group—and at its heart—since 1982.
When The Dublin Legends take the stage, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped straight into an Irish pub. You’ll sense the beating heart of Ireland as tales of sailors, fiery romances, and bittersweet love are shared through song. All that’s missing is a cold pint of Guinness in your hand.
