Born in Cuba and now based in Germany for several years after performing all over the world, Pacheco is considered one of the most versatile and brilliant jazz pianists of the younger generation.

The encounter with the man with the irresistible soulful voice from the southern Black Forest came about in the context of their CD "Duets." From this first collaboration, the two have developed a diverse, yet cohesive and intimate program.
Not only is the shared joy of exchanging ideas across genre boundaries evident in every moment of the duo, but also their curiosity for spontaneous impulses and improvisational escapades.
