On August 30 and 31, it's that time again: NikolaiZauber invites you to a festival of cabaret for the whole family in Berlin's Nikolaiviertel.

The last weekend of the Berlin summer holidays will once again be a highlight: On August 30 and 31, the “3rd NikolaiZauber” will transform Berlin's Nikolaiviertel in the city center into a lively stage full of music, art, and surprises.

There will be plenty to experience throughout the neighborhood, with artists, jugglers, magicians, clowns, walking acts, historical games, and musical entertainment. The festival will be officially opened by District Mayor Stefanie Remlinger.

The program is colorful and varied:

Among others, Jule Schuster on the slack rope, the living statues of “LaMetta,” color performer BLANKO, and diabolo artist DJuggledy will be there. New to the program: musical comedy by the Busch Company, the clown show Holiday on Delay by Jay Toor, and pantomime artist Bastian. Musical highlights will be provided by the Marzahn fanfare band, the Herr'n von der Tankstelle, and the showgirls of the Wilde Matilde.

Numerous shops, cafés, and restaurants in the neighborhood are once again participating with special promotions. In front of the “Erzgebirgischer Weihnachtsmarkt” (Erzgebirge Christmas market), wood turners and wood carvers will showcase their craft. The Zille Museum will bring Berlin originals such as Heinrich Zille, Eckensteher Nante, and the flower woman at the barrel organ to life.

There will once again be a special hands-on program for families with children:

At the Knoblauchhaus, historical games invite you to join in, and there will be face painting and airbrush tattoos. Clowns such as Lulu, Rosinchen, and Constance Debus will provide entertainment and keep everyone in good spirits.

On both days at 2 p.m., there will be free guided tours of the Nikolaiviertel with city guide Anna Haase.

A weekend full of cabaret, music, and fun for the whole family!

The three museums of the Stadtmuseum Berlin in the Nikolaiviertel—Nikolaikirche, Ephraim-Palais, and Knoblauchhaus—are opening their doors with free admission and special offers.

The “3rd NikolaiZauber” takes place on both days from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
