Vacation offer for children aged 8-13

Did you know that a queen bee can lay more than 2000 eggs a day? How long does a bee live? Why does it collect pollen and nectar and how does it make honey? Every bee has a task that it diligently fulfills.

Some bees are fatter than the many others. These are the drones, the male bees. They let the worker bees serve them all day long. But what is their job? How many bees actually live in a beehive? The participants will discuss these and many other questions in this bee workshop.

They will also learn how to build beehives. The workshop will be rounded off with a honey breakfast.

Open vacation offer with Kerstin Bragenitz and Claudia Wasow-Kania
