In her recital, for which she is joined by Julius Drake, the mezzo-soprano explores unexpected paths and presents a kaleidoscopic program highlighting multiple traditions, eras, and styles from Bach to Joni Mitchell.
“For this concert, we have tried to juxtapose works that say some of the things that we possibly all feel, irrespective of ‘genre’”.
