Over four weekends, the stage will pulse with music from across the globe: from the raw energy of Mexican Cumbia-punk to the hypnotic groove of Kenyan Dodo Blues, from the electrifying syncopations of Congolese Soukous to the powerful messages of Afro-futuristic big bands. Caribbean-infused Japanese folk, soulful jazz, hip hop, and the joy and resilience of Frafra-gospel round off  this celebration of sound— borderless, multi-perspective, and irresistably danceable!

Gotopo (Venezuela, Berlin)

Gotopo is a Berlin-based singer, composer, producer, and performer whose music bridges ancestral Afro-Indigenous rhythms with cutting-edge electronic beats. Originally from Venezuela, she blends folkloric stringed instruments with techno-inspired grooves, creating a bold fusion of tradition and futurism. Her debut EP Sacúdete reinvents folkloric sounds within Berlin’s vibrant club scene, channeling pulsating bass lines, spiritual energy, and a fearless approach to breaking creative barriers. A collaboration with Latin Grammy-winning producer Don Elektron, Simon Mejia (Bomba Estéreo), and Robot Koch, the EP embodies a fresh, dance-driven revolution rooted in cultural heritage.Kickstarting 2024, Gotopo’s single "Sacúdete" was chosen as the official soundtrack for Major League Soccer’s new season, praised by Billboard for its electrifying energy. With more music on the horizon, Gotopo continues to redefine Afro-Latin music for the global stage. She’s a DURCHLÜFTEN regular and we welcome her back in 2025.
