The Japan Spoken Word Night is a multilingual open mike, inspired by Japanese conceptual aesthetics. You are invited to approach Japan and the Japanese language from a literary and artistic perspective.

Complementary to the last event, the theme this time is “表 OMOTE Revealed Visible”. What is expressed in people and in their living environment? What surfaces and superficialities are they dealing with? How do people present themselves in the world, are they more visual or authentic? What of themselves do people make visible?
All poets and writing enthusiasts of all languages and backgrounds are welcome to be inspired by this topic.
