A Tour with Michael Harr

‘Berlin (and especially Neukölln) is the home of the homeless,’ writes Deborah Feldman in her autobiography “Unorthodox”.

This is not just the case today, but even in the early 18th century, Prussian rulers took in religious refugees who were looking for a new home and a life of freedom. This is how the ‘Bohemian Village’ in Neukölln came into being.

The tour invites you to get to know the past and living tradition in this very special neighbourhood of Berlin. Theologian and historian Michael Harr will accompany you on this journey.
