What happens when bodies meet without a script, guided only by sensation, intuition, and the silent wisdom of movement? Sick Moves is a raw and unpredictable Butoh performance, created through two days of intensive exploration in a workshop open to participants of all levels.

While the content is not predetermined, it will be shaped collectively and intentionally during the workshop, resulting in a coherent performance. This is a lived composition, born from shared experience, embodied research, and deep attention.

Rooted in the non-conforming gestures of Butoh, Sick Moves seeks to disrupt the habitual patterns of the body. It aims to reveal an inner truth beneath the surface of form. It is a political act of rebellion, a reclamation of agency, and a celebration of vulnerability as power.

Expect the unexpected. This is Sick Moves.

Stefano Taiuti (Rom, 1967): Butoh dancer, performer, movement teacher, and body therapist. He lives in Berlin and has explored movement since the late 1980s. In his work, he blends Western and Eastern theatrical traditions across theater, clubs, video performances, and site-specific installations. For him, the body is a spiritual mechanism; his work investigates movement as a tool for experience and altered states of consciousness.
