Since July 2015, the Evangelical Cemetery Association of Berlin City Center has been presenting a permanent, sunset-oriented light installation by the renowned American light artist James Turrell (*1943) in the chapel of Dorotheenstadt Cemetery I.

With an introductory lecture (German/English) from Friday to Sunday at sunset (start times vary)
• Duration: 1 hour (with a 25-minute introductory lecture)
• Admission: €10, tickets

• Doors open 30 minutes before the start of the event
The permanent installation is the only artwork by Turrell that is accessible to the public in Berlin; it can only be seen during sunset hours.
