Matthias Restaurant
Modern star cuisine in the Kollwitz neighbourhood
Whether it's an extensive dinner with a 5- to 6-course menu or a spontaneous lunch on a Saturday - at Matthias Restaurant in Kollwitzkiez, you can expect culinary delights from Michelin-starred cuisine for every occasion. The predominantly French cuisine combines exciting flavours.
French Michelin-starred cuisine with an international flavour
The potato and sourdough bread is home-baked, the seaweed, radish and plums creation is an original composition and the Michelin star is justified anew with every menu. The kitchen team here knows the art of harmoniously combining exciting flavours. Savour Matthias' delicacies either as an exquisite menu or from the varied à la carte selection.
An oasis of well-being in the Kollwitz neighbourhood
Hostess Janine Woltaire and head chef Silvio Pfeufer have created a true gourmet oasis: Matthias is located directly on the lively Kollwitzstraße, but there is no sign of Berlin's hustle and bustle in the stylishly furnished dining room. Earthy tones, wooden elements and a pink-coloured counter made of matt terracotta tiles create a relaxed atmosphere. Sit back and enjoy!
Cuisine with tradition
At Matthias, culinary tradition is not only anchored in the menu, but also in the name: the restaurant is named after Silvio Pfeufer's grandfather Hans Matthias, who once ran a butcher's shop in the same neighbourhood.
