Lübbenau
Lübbenau is the heart of the 476-square metre Spreewald region. The little marketplace is surrounded by unassuming private homes, next to the baroque church with its simplistic exterior, which conceals a richly ornate interior. The largest building in the area is the castle of Count of Lynar. An open-air museum of historic Spreewald houses can be found in the Lehde district.
