The Japanese love citrus fruits in all their variations and flavors. Known in Japan as "Kankitsu," the country arguably boasts the greatest variety in the world. Currently, over 100 citrus varieties are known in Japan. The most popular and well-known citrus fruit is the yuzu, a cross between the hardy Ichang lemon and a mandarin orange. It is fresh and fruity with a characteristically intense, slightly bitter flavor.



At the exclusive Yuzu Tasting, seven exciting examples will be presented and tasted in depth, including yuzu liqueurs, yuzu sake, yuzu umeshu, and a yuzu spritz.


The exclusive tasting events at Atelier Ginza provide information about producers, production methods, and ways of drinking sake. Of course, there will also be plenty of tastings to choose from, and exciting and amusing anecdotes from trips to the Land of the Rising Sun will be shared along the way.


  • The tasting begins at 6:30 PM and lasts two hours until 8:30 PM.
  • The tasting will be held in German.
