Exercise Olympics, tips and tricks for your health!

On September 23, 2025, everything in southern Neukölln will revolve around health: Wutzky, together with its tenants, invites you to an informative and entertaining day of activities.

Between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM, visitors can expect free offers from various health providers, as well as a children's exercise Olympics on Rotraut-Richter-Platz.

The patron of the Health Day is Neukölln's district mayor, Martin Hikel, who will also be in attendance.

"Wutzky is not just a place to shop, but also a strong partner for health. With this day of activities, we want to inspire our visitors to lead a more active and healthier life," explains Rainer Uhlig, chairman of the Wutzky shopping center advertising association.

The exercise Olympics for children and young people, hosted by ALBA Berlin and the Sportwerk, start at 2:00 PM. Participants collect certificates and their own Wutzky medal through sports, games, strength, and coordination exercises.

At Rotraut-Richter-Platz, entertainment and engaging conversations with health providers provide additional variety.

A special highlight is the Capoeira workshop by "Canarho Capoeira," a group from the Carnival of Cultures. Here, participants learn the Brazilian martial art from professionals – a blend of combat, dance, acrobatics, music, and rhythm. Typical moves, kicks, evasive maneuvers, and musical accompaniment with singing, drumming, and the berimbau are on the program.

"Exercise is the key to well-being and joie de vivre. Activities like these remind us how much fun it is to be active – and inspire young people, in particular, to adopt a healthy lifestyle," emphasizes Martin Hikel.

The entire Health Day and all activities are free of charge.
