Many visitors to Peacock Island naturally think of the imposing peacocks or our water buffalo when they think of animals on the island. However, the island is also a habitat for countless wild animals. Beavers and wild boars are always trying to conquer the island. Various birds of prey in particular, as well as black swans and greylag geese, have discovered Peacock Island for themselves.
