Lecture

The lecture by Hans-Werner Kroesinger and Regine Dura focuses on a little-known chapter in Telefunken's corporate history. The company was not only a leader in the entertainment sector, but also played a key role in the German arms industry during World War II thanks to forced and foreign labor.

The event series LIFE, LOVE, WORK & RESISTANCE brings together the pioneers of the Telefunken company's women's dormitory with their daughters and granddaughters, takes a look at the company's history between consumer electronics and arms production, examines the legendary wildcat strikes of the 1970s, discusses the visibility of female migrant workers in film art, and, last but not least, follows the traces of (post)migrant art and cultural practice from 1960 to the present day.
