Wedding Klezmer are Stefan Aab (accordion), Jannis Lilge (trumpet, bouzouki, vocals), Uwe Sauerwein (guitar, vocals), Thomas Gruner-Szur (clarinet, bass clarinet) and Reiner Rowald (bass, baglama, mandola).

Wedding Klezmer
The Berlin-based band has been playing klezmer, Balkan music and Greek rembetiko together for over 20 years. The musicians met in Berlin's Wedding district at a workshop led by musician, composer and trumpeter Paul Brody.
Since then, they have been playing as a quartet and quintet, composing and arranging their own pieces. They share a passion for Jewish music and songs from Eastern Europe and Greece.
