The MuseumXpeditions will also take you outside! Take part in the museum parkour and build a museum landscape in the sand together with paper and cardboard, for which you will first collect exciting shapes inside the exhibition. In July, you can explore the exhibitions together with the Schattenmuseum youth committee under the title “LET'S PLAY, MOVE, COMMUNICATE!”

Museum landscape

On a short journey through the museum you collect strange, cool and unusual shapes which later find their place in a shared museum landscape outside in the sand. (12, 1:30 and 3 pm)


Museum parkour

Join us on the museum parkour in the Rieckhallen and discover how you can move through the exhibitions. (12:30, 2 and 3:30 pm)


Let’s play, move communicate! (6, 13, 20, 27 July)

How can we play in the museum? How do we build pictures? How do we move around with lots of people? What can we do together? How do we sound? How do we tell stories? How do we draw or write?


The Schattenmuseum invites you on an interactive tour with exciting experiments through the exhibitions. By young people for everyone aged 8 and over. (13:00, 14:30, 16:00)


Picnic tour (3, 10, 17, 24, 31 August)

Sit on picnic blankets and do little experiments directly in the exhibitions. (1, 2:30, 4 pm)

The number of participants for the MuseumXpeditions is limited. Registration takes place on site at the info point.
