Performance by Alexandra Morozova & Rustem Begenov (ORTA)
"The New Genius Experience of The Great Atomic Bombreflector" is a ritual science fiction experiment by the planetary ORTA project, which will be performed for the first time in Berlin on October 26th after performances in New York and Seoul.
The immersive performance falls into the genre of "New Genius Theater," developed by the performance duo ORTA based on the ideas of Kazakh visionary Sergey Kalmykov.
Incorporating Kalmykov's transcendental texts, folk songs, and testimonies from survivors of nuclear tests in Kazakhstan, an immersive atmosphere unfolds – guided by performer Alexandra Morozova.
As active participants in the performance, the audience undergoes a multi-stage ritual and encounters the shocking nuclear inhumanity that plagued Kazakhstan in the form of 40 years of nuclear bomb testing.
With pointed lighting, fragile music, and 17,000 aluminum shells, ORTA succeeds in creating a revolutionary invention that transforms the destructive energy of atomic force into the genius forces of global upliftment: the Large Atomic Bomb Reflector.
