Where historic elegance meets modern living, Villa RADA opens its summer garden on the banks of the Dahme River for two special evenings.
In this unique setting, Villa RADA is now presenting two open-air evenings full of culture for the first time – immersed in an environment where encounters, inspiration and summer lightness are at home.
With just two exclusive dates, the Villa RADA Summer Theatre – Open Air is kicking off its premiere season.
24 August 2025 – 7 p.m.
‘Einfach Kreisler’ – Marc Rudolf sings Kreisler Brilliant, bitterly angry chanson gems, subtle black humour and masterful stage presence: Marc Rudolf breathes new life into the characters of the legendary Georg Kreisler. Accompanied on the piano by Jürgen Beyer, the result is an evening that sparkles, surprises and is sometimes wonderfully uncomfortable.
28 August 2025 – 7 p.m.
Summer show with MEGY B. A thrilling mix of drag, music and humour: MEGY B. and pianist Jürgen Beyer transport the audience to a world full of elegance, cheekiness and emotion. Sometimes loud and laughing, sometimes thoughtful – always captivating.
A place with history – and many faces Built in 1890, Villa RADA looks back on an eventful history – from its builder Fritz Dewitt and prominent residents to Stefan Heym's speech in the garden, on the spot where the summer theatre is taking place this year. Today, it combines business, networking, culture, health and enjoyment in a unique atmosphere. Whether relaxing in a deckchair by the water, on a boat trip with SpreeAhoi or in the middle of a balmy theatre evening – here you will experience a feeling of life that you will not soon forget.
Villa RADA – A place that plays. Here, coffee salon meets summer stage, jazz meets theatre, dinner meets bingo. Here, culture dares to be different.
