Testsiger! Songs, tested and certified. On hundreds of concert evenings all over Germany, Shakti and Matze (formerly: MON MARI ET MOI) have taken their audience’s minds off things while putting their new songs through a rigorous test. Many different test listeners contributed to the song selection this time. This is how their program “Test Winner” came to life. Everyday poetry at its finest. Tested and certified.

Testsieger - Shakti und Matze
Shakti and Matze sing and tell you about your everyday life. The special thing is that this time you don’t have to do the dishes, and others will tidy up for you. How nice!
It’s about quickly forgotten good intentions, the right shade of pink, seven-zone-barrel-pocket-spring mattresses, of course about the neighbors, this time even about love, and a farewell song for people who still say “Tschüssikowski.”
The songs are framed by wonderfully whimsical stories. No wonder they are repeatedly categorized as music cabaret or won the 2024 comedy prize “Belziger Bachstelze.”
In addition to guitars and vocals, many other extraordinary instruments can be heard. The Rheinpfalz writes: “Quirky and beautiful, charmingly offbeat, colorfully cheeky.”
