When the accordion and English horn come together, the result is a sound full of warmth, virtuosity and surprising colours. The duo G&G – Gerhard A. Schiewe and Gudrun Vogler – present an extraordinary mixture of temperament and fine musical poetry in their Sunday matinee.

The focus is on artful arrangements in which pieces such as Richard Galliano's ‘Allée des Brouillards’ act as musical respites and open up space for emotional contrasts – from intense energy to delicate melancholy.
The Sunday Matinee is a concert series at Nou Mitte. We want to use our beautiful rooms to provide a forum for (tango) music and put the music centre stage. This event consists of concerts, so everyone is welcome – dancers and non-dancers alike – to listen to the wonderful sounds of the music.
Admission is free.
Donations to promote tango culture are very welcome. The event is organised by the Nou Community Berlin in cooperation with Nou Mitte.
