Stephan von Bothmer interprets the psychoanalytic silent film drama live on electric piano.

A scientist is tormented by terrible nightmares, an irrational fear of knives, and the desire to murder his wife until he finds himself in psychoanalysis. The old master G.W. Pabst created a film classic – bizarre, outstanding in its visual inventiveness, and at the same time almost oppressively comic.

"Secrets of a Soul" depicts the popularization of Sigmund Freud's teachings in a feature film plot whose protagonist suffers from traumatic impotence, murderous jealousy, and a fertile imagination. [G.W. Pabst, Germany 1926]

From 1913 to 1933, Weissensee was an important film location, producing numerous classics.
