Songs of Light

SONGS OF LIGHT is an exciting and entertaining sound and light performance of a special kind. A multi-layered, audiovisual stage play is created from a variety of short pieces, all of which deal with the theme of light in different ways. The acoustic events include experimental sound actions, Fluxus pieces, as well as various songs and diverse text material. The visual action develops from the use of different electrical light sources, various objects and performative interventions.

Anna Clementi and Michael Vorfeld have been working together in performative and purely musical projects since 2022. The spectrum ranges from compositional to improvisational collaborations as a duo as well as in collaboration with other musicians. The combination of music, text, light and action mostly takes centre stage.
