Spätschicht x Schwules Museum
Dark lipstick, a double-strand pearl necklace, one leg elegantly bent, the hand resting on the armrest of a sofa. In 1967, Diane Arbus titled this image "Transsexual at home, N.Y.C." The performer, writer, and dancer River Roux uses this label as the starting point for her performance at the Gropius Bau, which takes place as part of the "Spätschicht x Schwules Museum" (Late Shift x Gay Museum) series.
