The poetry of construction

The Berlin artists examine the surfaces and structures of everything from the socialist form wall in the east to the brutalist replica in the west of the city. But the subtle, materialised traces of imagined spaces are also part of their artistic repertoire. Their drawings, paintings, collages and objects combine reality and vision with density, dynamism and conciseness.
