Photo walks through Marzahn-Hellersdorf

Together, you will explore the large housing estates of Marzahn and Hellersdorf, where a unique district for 190,000 people was built in record time in the 1970s and 1980s on former farmland and sewage fields.

On this special photo walk, you will learn to capture the often overlooked beauty of prefabricated housing. It's not just about classic shots of the architecture, but also about the atmosphere, the stories and the small details that make up the character of this neighbourhood. Alina will show you new perspectives and give you tips on how to develop your photographic skills, whether with a camera or a smartphone.



New: Tour of Alt-Marzahn

Due to popular demand, there are now four additional dates and a brand new tour.

Join us as we explore the idyllic village of Alt-Marzahn, where village charm, farms, animals and the silhouettes of high-rise buildings meet. A special highlight is the historic windmill, which turns its sails in the wind.

Information & registration

The photo walks are free of charge, but the number of participants is limited to 10 people per date.
Registration is essential. It pays to be quick. Allow around 2 hours for the photo walk.

We will be taking photos in the warm light of the late afternoon. Anyone who wishes to can stay until sunset.
Please bring your own photography equipment or smartphone. Participation is at your own risk; no liability is accepted.
