A play with musical accompaniment on a small stage based on the fairy tale of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen.

With his fairy tale "The Snow Queen", Hans Christian Andersen created one of his most multi-layered and complex works. Accompanied by atmospheric music, this production uses 12 imaginative images to tell the story of Gerda's search for her friend Kai, who has been kidnapped by the Snow Queen.

On her journey through the seasons, to faraway and wondrous places, she encounters extraordinary people and animals. With them, Gerda experiences joy and pain, hope and doubt, love and indifference. In the end, it is love that helps her to overcome all obstacles.
