Children are very welcome. Naturschutzstation Hahneberg invites you to enjoy your own snacks and drinks during the concert. They look forward to musical evenings with you at the Hahneberg.
This time we can expect American compositions with classical guitar sounds inspired by well-known compositions from North and South America.
The guitar duo Lopez/Woodcock will be playing
The program “American Compositions” highlights the versatility of the classical guitar through a selection of important works of American music. From George Gershwin's jazzy, classical “Three Preludes” to the passionate tangos of Astor Piazzolla to the Brazilian suites of Radamés Gnattali and the hypnotic, minimalist sounds of Steve Reich, the program showcases the rich cultural diversity and musical depth of America. The title refers both to the origins of these works and to the creative process of translating America's complex cultural influences into music.
Cost: A suggested donation of €15 will be collected, which will go directly to the musicians, but everyone is still invited to attend in solidarity.
