NEXT GENERATION Children's Day

On August 9, 2025, the Konzerthaus Berlin will be transformed into a vibrant world of sound for young music fans: With NEXT GENERATION Children's Day, the international Young Euro Classic festival invites children and young people ages 3 and up to an interactive musical experience.

NEXT GENERATION – Festival for Young and Old Sound Explorers

Under the motto "Participate, Try, and Be Amazed," the festival offers a diverse program of interactive concerts, musical workshops, and creative sound experiments – ideal for families and anyone who wants to inspire young people to enjoy music in a playful way.

Children's Music Festival with Interactive Concerts & Workshops

The festival kicks off with the composition workshop "Sound Experiments" from August 4–8, 2025, organized by the successful Berlin project QuerKlang. Children and young people ages 8 and up – adults are also welcome – will compose their own piece of music together – with no prior knowledge required, but with plenty of curiosity. The premiere will take place on August 9th at 6:15 p.m. in the Werner Otto Hall of the Konzerthaus. Participation is free, but seating is limited – registration is required.
