Langer Tag der Stadtnatur

Which forms of nature do people protect and why? How does nature conservation actually work? What is the difference between the environment, nature, and wilderness? Why do people value some living beings more than others?

On an excursion through the protected areas around Hahneberg for adults and young people, guided by local experts, you will gain insights into modern approaches to nature ethics and the problems of applied nature conservation using practical examples in the area.

Participants will also be able to observe rare animal and plant species and enjoy a variety of nature observations.

Please note that the terrain is partly uneven and there are slight inclines to be negotiated. The total walk is approximately two kilometers.
